Sister Love

This is a piece Kate created for her Goddaughter – Petra Borchert and her sister Padme.

It is based on one of her favourite paintings “Carnation, lily, lily, rose”. by John Singer Sargent. The famous American Society Portrait Painter. The closeness of sister love, how connected we are, as sisters and yet how our personalities are so distinct.

The sparkling stars, these girls shine in life. Their crowns referencing their love for dressing up and being beautiful. The dark night sky and the gorgeous lilies.
